I was going through my HR work and getting started with my preparations for the communication skills test tomorrow when i just realised what i am doing now are just one of many things both me and you readers face on our path to success in life.. when i meet many people on the golf course, the topic of success is constantly surfacing as people are very much occupied with being a success in life and they enjoy talking about how successful they are.. ''how big their business is, how expensive their golf clubs are..etc'' i guess this is a common mentality where most people like to boast what they own but the big question mark is ''Does material wealth and status mean success in life?'' i took time to digest this and discovered there are just many traits a successful person will have, for example, being contented with life and this does not mean material wealth; the simple joys of life will do, being humble to everyone and acknowledging people who guided you to success, being a sociable and well-mannered individual.. i guess the list will go on and on with no full-stop to it.. One thought i had in mind was to look at life as a whole picture and not zooming in on every detail of the picture.. this way, i find myself being more contented with what i have around me and not overly intrepreting my circumstances and it really does make me feel balanced in life although i will not really say i am a success in life as yet since i still have a long way to go in life and many lessons yet to be learnt.. Do you agree?
