Had a few drinks with Ben and JS yesterday night at Jerry's.. a great time to chill and relax.. great place to visit..
Recent years, i have to admit that the complexity of life has clouded me from appreciating the people around me and that includes my friends and family.. Like they say, these are the pillars that support your life..
More importantly, i learn to appreciate what my parents have been doing for me and guiding me through out my life.
I'd often dread their words and find them to be grumpy at times but in the end, i realised the meaning of their words of guidance and apply them to my life which definitely helped get me back on the right track at times..
the word 'cherish' is not something to be overlooked, parents and not forgetting friends are there for you but whether you take notice of them and cherish them is your part to view and take.. cos when its too late, it really is too late - nothing you can do to get them back..
Just thought of something to end this post,
I'd imagine this : My life is a tunnel with a light shimmering at the end, the tunnel is dark and full of traps.. my parents have walked through the tunnel before and what they are doing, is to guide me to the end, away from the traps and harms of life..
So i say, lets cherish what we have before its just too late.. :) Cheers!
