I guess the exams achieved what it was set out to do and that was to grill every bit of our knowledge.. Let me give an example, the finance test is full of twists and turns which requires a certain level of preparation to plot your way through it.. If you ever assume the answers on the first look, the paper setter will be smiling away since he/she has caught you red-handed with your 'assumptions' and see you taking the wrong end with no knowledge of it.
Well, i finally had the luxury of spending time with my friends and not forgetting new friends (JS,Ben,Timo,Alan,Huiyi,Denyse,Nisha), we had steamboat for dinner yesterday at bugis area.. Quite a scrumptious meal with the palatable ingredients for steamboat.. I have to say, it was a nice dinner when you have no more worries for tests. The coming holidays will be filled up with project work for PFP and FOI..
Back to reality, the economic climate seems to be glooming as the days go by.. Lets admit, this is affecting everyone directly/indirectly negatively, if you ever notice, in this time of trouble, everyone looks down and ponders the future.. and it is in this times of sorrows and depression where your friends plays a major role in lifting your head up high and helping you while you walk this dark road ahead.. Many people can say they have a huge bunch of friends but have you ever lie down on your bed and use your ten fingers to count how many loyal and trustworthy friends you have? You'd be in a shock to find out just how many true friends you have out of the huge bunch of friends.. true friends who will carry you through this time of difficulties no matter the circumstances..
I suppose i do not have to emphasise the need for loyal and true friends.. I hope this will get you counting and thinking who will stand by you when you are trapped in the valley of difficulties.. Life may be a journey but along this journey, you will need help some where & some time..
