I celebrated countdown with my buddies, Ben, JS, Zen and Shu Hui at the Marina Bay, though we could not get a good vantage point to view the fireworks, we still enjoyed the spectacular show of fireworks where the many variations and patterns of the fireworks kept our eyes wide

Welcoming 2009

Happy New Year!

After the fireworks, we headed down to clarke quay to look for a place to chill but lady luck was not on our side this time around, we could not find a good place to have a couple of drinks and we just walked around the city area to soak in the atmosphere of the New Year.. enjoyed myself..

Well, now its down to what happened yesterday night, the first weekend of 2009..

Me, Ben, Zen, Jia Yun and Amreesh celebrated JS birthday at the Hard Rock cafe..

It was a terrific place to celebrate with the good setting it provides and we enjoyed music from the live band 'Enigma' in the cafe, it was Retro night and we got a blast from the past with music from Queen, U2 and other great bands..

The dinner was a delight, the steak was good, you've got to go try the steak.. seriously..

Anyway, I was glad to see my good friend, JS enjoying his birthday celebration there, credits to Ben and the rest for the planning, it was a success.. Good food, Good drinks, Good music and not forgetting good laughs kept us all entertained for the night.. Simply splendid..
