Every assessment in work, brings all to a point of comparison, comparing project grades, comparing examination marks, comparing everything you can possibly boast..
On the outer, you may look friendly but on the inner, you are out to get everyone and prove you are the better.
What do you get from comparisons? Self satisfaction? Sense of pride? Added motivation?
When you treat your peers as your 'opponents', you will never stand to gain..
So what even if you have won, thrash, crush your peers with your impressive grades or achievements, did you manage to overcome and beat yourself in the end? Ask yourself.. Everyone wants to win others but if you cannot even overcome yourself and beat yourself, how can you go about declaring victory over others?
Win gracefully and lose gracefully, humbleness is key to success..
