After playing 18 holes at Sembawang Country Club, the undulations of the course itself had me struggling all the way, my wood was not working, my irons were poor, my putter was cold, my judgment of distance was poor and all these can be attributed to my lack of experience in playing such undulating golf course as compared to the golf course i normally play at NSRCC where the ground is flat and the shots are all straight-forward.

When i look at it from another perspective, its interesting, if i can imagine the course i played today to be something foreign, something unexpected, something unimaginable which i have no idea or memories as to how the course looks like or plays, and now i take the course i normally play where its comfortably easy, very much predictable and 'home feeling' and draw comparisons, i wonder if you can see the big picture, if me and you, my reader are always bounded within our comfort zone and have all the obstacles predicted and expected with all the experience you have and need to cruise your way through, you will never encounter a lose situation unless something of odd nature occurs.
Then, what will happen to you and i when we have to venture out to foreign territories and cruise around with no sense of direction, no necessary experience and a lack of street knowledge, what will be the outcome? I guess you will know it better than me.. Do i make sense? you be the judge..

PS: I am praying hard for Wednesday evening to be a successful gathering.. though its against the odds, well anyway, i tried my best already..
