Besides the SWINE flu outbreak, everything is as usual, i am still finding myself busy with project work especially HR project and tutorials as well.. Made a couple of new friends in my new class, looks like a fresh semester start again..
On a different note, i feel Singaporeans are rather 'kia-see', i followed a couple of my friends to buy thermometers but to no avail, all shops selling thermometers were running out of stock.. Though the virus is on the outbreak, the general public is over-reacting to this issue.. If resources can be allocated in a way that will prevent the virus from reaching our shores, it will reduce the level of anxiety among the public.. I was just wondering why does it always have to be in such critical causes that we Singaporeans will demonstrate that we are proactive persons and take the initiative to buy thermometers.. While, when the economy is down, everybody steps back and never take the initiative to consume and spend more to generate economic activity. Always has to be a life and death situation then people will be alert and take actions immediately without any mandatory advise..
